Embracing Pride: LWP Celebrates LGBTQIA+ with Campus Pride Partnership

Nice Girls,

Happy Pride Month! Little Words Project stands for inclusivity and kindness and is very proud to support LGBTQIA+ this June and always.  We support and celebrate through our Little Words Big Impact partnership with Campus Pride. Little Words Big Impact is our year-round program supporting an incredible group of causes we love where each bracelet gives back 25% of net proceeds to a different non-profit. This particular bracelet gives back to Campus Pride and is an excellent accessory to rep during Pride month. The beaded bracelets say “Be Yourself in rainbow letter beads that are exclusive to this style. The bracelet also features a mix of white marble and rainbow beads. Wearing this supportive bracelet will be perfect for all of your fantastic pride events this June and of course for everyday wear! 25% of the net proceeds from this bracelet benefit Campus Pride to develop resources to support LGBTQIA+ students. Sometimes being yourself can feel like the hardest thing you’ll ever do. But it’s always worth it! Wear this beaded bracelet as a reminder that being yourself isn’t just an act of honesty: it’s an act of incredible, liberating courage. We are so happy to celebrate this Pride month with you!

According to campuspride.org, “Campus Pride represents the leading national nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization for student leaders and campus groups working to create a safer college environment for LGBTQ students. The organization is a volunteer-driven network ‘for’ and ‘by’ student leaders. The primary objective of Campus Pride is to develop necessary resources, programs and services to support LGBTQ and ally students on college campuses across the United States.” Campus Pride provides excellent resources for college students and hosts events that help with safety, networking, inclusivity,  career searching, and more. One of the organization’s latest initiatives is Career Connect. This platform connects LGBTQ+ students to the workplace. Through the platform, students can find internships and job opportunities, find mentors, learn professional skills, build relationships with employers, and research LGBTQ+  companies. Some of the events Campus Pride offers for students are Safe Space Online training, Camp Pride, and Advisor Academy. Camp Pride is a week-long summer camp that helps students build leadership, resilience, and activism skills as well as builds friendships! This Camp is an excellent opportunity for people to unite and make relationships in a unique, fun setting. Little Words Project is so grateful to work with Campus Pride and is honored to spotlight this organization at this time of year and give back to them all year.

In addition to our partnership with Campus Pride through Little Words Big Impact, we are happy to be hosting Pride events at some of our retail locations. If you are looking for more bracelets to be added to your Pride Month stack, we have a wide variety of colorful and meaningful beaded bracelets for you to choose from. We recommend our Crayola x LWP Kindness bracelet which has a beautiful, muted rainbow pattern, our Be Free Best seller, our Keep Going Best Seller, and any of the colorful options on our customizer. Some Prideful options include our new Funfetti custom style, our Rainbow Disc style, and our Waterproof Gold Rainbow style. We cannot wait to see you wear your Little Words Project bracelets this Pride season.
