At Tattered Paws and Golden Hearts Rescue, we believe that every dog, no matter where they come from, deserves a life full of love and care. TPGHR rescues and rehabilitates dogs both in Türkiye and in the USA, and has placed over 1,200 dogs in forever homes since its founding in 2018. As a 100% donor-funded and volunteer-run rescue, every dollar raised goes straight to caring for rescue dogs while they wait to find their forever families.

While TPGHR has a primary focus on rescuing golden retrievers - a breed particularly vulnerable when trying to fend for themselves on the streets due to their gentle nature - we also rescue many other breeds and mixed breed dogs and fly them to approved adopters across the US.
