Gray for Glioblastoma is a 501 (c) 3 created to raise awareness for and funds to support Glioblastoma Multiforme research by accepting donations and donating to cancer care and research facilities. The organization has gifted over $200,000 to support GBM research projects at renowned cancer centers including Dana Farber Cancer Institute, Children’s Hospital LA/Saban Research Institute and The Preston Robert Tisch Brain Tumor Center at Duke. We accomplish this while simultaneously creating a hopeful and positive space and providing resources and a space of community through social media and events.
We chose to include amethyst crystals because it is believed by some to have a variety of healing properties including helping reduce stress, anxiety, and promoting a sense of inner peace. Amethyst crystals are also commonly used to help with grief and emotional healing. It is believed that the crystal's energy can help soothe and calm emotions, reducing feelings of sadness and grief.
